Sometimes the tech industry feels a little like high fashion and nothing makes this feel more true than a seasonal roll out of its latest fashions. So, when Apple announced the last of its 2013 upgrades and new products it kind of felt like a fashion show of slimmer lines and more voluminous features.
So, what can we expect from Apple in the final part of this year? Well, there are some new iPads for us to hopefully try out such as the fifth generation, now known as the iPad Air. This latest upgrade will allegedly be 8 times faster with the addition of an A7 chip, 20% thinner and feature a 5 megapixel rear-camera. The second generation iPad mini has also been announced and will also feature the A7 chip. In addition the new mini will have a retina display.
Those in the market for the latest OS X Maverick desktop operating system will be pleased to discover that Apple is offering it free. The latest upgrade for the Mac-Pro has been announced at lower price than usual around $2,999 and most important software packages such as iWork and iLife have been upgraded too. So all in all it looks like an exciting end to the year for Apple loving techheads, time to start pre-ordering for Christmas.
