Online TV Service On Deck From Sky

I’ve considered online television service to be an inevitable movement for sometime now. It simple makes sense for those who don’t wish to be limited to their local cable or satellite market. New televisions can be configured to work with personal computers, so why not receive cable from the internet? Oh yeah, there’s no provider of such services. Well, that will soon be changing.
Satellite television company, Sky, has now confirmed rumors that it is readying to launch a subscription-based television service through the internet via its well-known Sky Player platform.
Details concerning channel offerings, pricing and when exactly the service will become available have not yet been unveiled. However, it is known that the service will provide standard Sky channels in addition to channels from 3rd party broadcasters. Also, an assortment of subscription packages will be offered, and you will not need to be a Sky satellite customer to receive the new services.
