A new service called Price!pinx (www.pricepinx.com) helps you track great deals by product and/or retailer. It allows shoppers to request price drop alerts for any product on almost any retailer’s website. The free service smoothly integrates into your online shopping experience by using a smart bookmark: on the retailer’s website you click the smart bookmark which automatically records the product information and the price for you. Price!pinx then monitors the price and notifies you about price drops as they happen.
So whether you are planning to buy a product or already bought a product, you can now receive price drop alerts via email. Also, after purchasing a product, shoppers often leave money on the table by not being aware of price guarantees or price match guarantees offered by many retailers. Let’s say a retailer has a 30-day post-order price guarantee. So if you buy a product from this retailer and within 30 days of your purchase the price drops, you can claim a refund.
