TiVo and Amazon have announced that, starting today, TiVo users will be able to download TV shows and movies directly from their DVRs, bypassing their computers entirely. Cool.

Apparently there will be a “Buy on TV” feature that you can use to download using only your TiVo remote.

I guess my TiVo hasn’t received the software update yet. Expect a review of the service on this site as soon as the feature becomes available to me.
